Our referral office co-ordinates with the client on a regular basis regarding the general situation on which patients are pending being sent for medical treatment as well as updating the client on all aspects regarding their patients. Our philosophy is that we would rather estimate a slightly higher, but more realistic cost and then have a balance left over after medical treatment, under normal conditions, rather than under estimate and produce a larger than expected bill at the end of treatment. Our pricing is based on preferential rates that we get charged by the various service providers. We are continually negotiating for lower rates on behalf of our clients. Wherever possible, we endeavour to negotiate for fixed prices per procedure. This helps the clients' budget correctly for medical treatment. (This, especially for transplant surgery). In India we only deal with facilities of the highest international standards. One of the core benefits of utilising our service is the fact that we take care of all the frustrations regarding the collection of bills for the treatment of the various patients. With our specialised staff and systems, we eliminate the possibility of being doubly billed for the same treatment.
There are also the systems in place that check that the correct fees are charged and all discounts are passed on to you, the client.
We provide complete consolidated bills per patient, once the patient has completed the treatment program. These are being compiled on an ongoing basis from the time the patient arrives, we monitor all the service providers who are involved with a specific patient as well as collecting all the bills from these service providers.
You, the client are updated on a regular basis during the treatment, especially if the treatment duration is over an extended period of time. Our filing systems are completely open for scrutiny by any client at any time, as long as this is in accordance with the strict confidentiality that is required in the medical profession.
Our company gives our payment guarantees to service providers on behalf our clients. These are specific guarantees that have certain limiting factors built in, in order that service providers do not have an "open cheque book" for treatment. These documents are in place for all treatments and accommodations.
Whilst the patient is at the medical service provider, we keep the client updated on a regular basis of the estimated costs, as well as if there are any changes to the original estimate. We also keep the client updated on the actual medical condition of the patient.
In the event that the patient passes away whilst under our program, we make all the relevant arrangements in order to repatriate the mortal remains.
The escorts travelling with the patient are accommodated at accommodation specified by the client.
